General Provisions

• 1. The SIH Learning Exchange Platform is an online database and venue for the exchange of ideas, information, and resources related to social innovation in health, health research, and other novel health initiatives.
• 2. The platform is accessible to the public; however, registration is required to participate in more in-depth functions such as discussion forums.
• 3. The platform is governed by the guidelines and policies set forth in these terms and conditions, as well as any applicable laws and regulations.
• 4. The platform reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Users are encouraged to review the terms and conditions regularly.

User Registration

• 1. Users must register with a valid email address to participate in more in-depth functions like discussion forums.
• 2. Users must provide accurate and complete information when registering, including their first and last name, username, region, province, city, the scope of practice/ specialization/ disease focus, and their preferred user type.
• 3. Users must agree to the platform's data policy and allow their profile to be seen in the public database. User profiles need to be approved by a moderator.
• 4. Users must be 18 years of age or older to register.

User Conduct

• 1. Users are responsible for their conduct on the platform and must not engage in any illegal, abusive, or unethical behavior.
• 2. Users must respect the intellectual property rights of others and not use the platform to distribute or upload any copyrighted material without the express permission of the copyright holder.
• 3. Users must not use the platform to distribute or upload any malicious software, viruses, or other harmful material.
• 4. Users must not use the platform to engage in any activity that would disrupt or interfere with the platform's normal operation.

Content Ownership and Licensing

• 1. All content uploaded to the platform, including user-generated content, becomes the property of the platform.
• 2. All content on the platform is licensed under the Creative Commons 4.0 license/ CC BY 4.0, allowing for the sharing and adaptation of content, as long as proper attribution is given.

Limitation of Liability

• 1. The platform is provided on an "as is" basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Termination

• 1. The platform reserves the right to terminate a user's access to the platform for any reason, including but not limited to, violation of these terms and conditions.
